Fin

So I’m home, back in Iowa.  I really miss working on the house, especially since it wasn’t completed when I left!

Working with Habitat has given me incite into other career possibilities and really has me thinking.

Sometimes I think, and forget what I’ve thought.  So in an effort to capture these thoughts, I’ve started another, more open-ended blog.

Thanks for following my Habitat adventure.

So Close!

As of today I have 2.5 hours left and then I will officially be done!

So I will get to site at 8:30, and leave at 11:00.  Haha joke.

Tomorrow we will install cabinets and tie up some loose ends.  After work it’s happy hour at The Fainting Goat with my Habitat family =] Can’t wait.

Nitty-Gritty

I can’t believe I just finished my last full week of working with Habitat.  It’s gone so fast and I’ve met some great people.  I’ve also built some great arm muscles.  Haha.  But seriously.

I’m just so glad I’ve had the opportunity to experience the gift of giving in such a great way.  The giving of time, resources, compassion and a lot of sweat equity.  It’s been a great chance to be a part of something way, way bigger than myself.  I think I’m addicted.

3 more days!
